Who hasn’t seen films such as: “Independence Day”, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “Men in Black” or a TV series: “The X – files”? The answer: everybody has. Films in which aliens from other worlds star are always big box offices. The question appears: “Is UFO only science fiction or there is something behind the whole thing?” Well, the American society has been divided into two groups: supporters and opponents of this phenomenon. On one hand, American military and government agencies, scientists rejected any such possibilities. On the other hand, people who claim having photographs, personal testimonies and some other proofs of existing UFO are trigger for fierce discussions. Where does the whole thing stem from?

Once upon a time, not so far away and long ago there was a pilot called Kenneth Arnold. On June 24, 1947 he saw blue – white objects which were flying with incredible speed. In the same year, on July 2 the other report of UFO appeared. This time it was a crash of an unknown object in Roswell, New Mexico. Its remains were found by a farmer William Brazel. The government dismissed them as a weather balloon. However, nothing could stop an avalanche of questions and following reports since then. For sceptical audience explanations of bright lights and unusual movements as other airborne reflections or weather phenomena weren’t enough. They wanted something more. Intense sightings which took place in 1957 and 1973 showed the liveliness of saucers and watchers. However, what for somebody was a watertight proof for the other – a pack of lies.

Even today, UFO is still a hot subject and arouses a lot of controversies. What we know for sure is that UFO business is a vein of gold.
